Yoga Nidra is a method which induces physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
This practice induces positive changes in sleep patterns and a deep relaxation session with this method is equivalent to 4 normal hours of sleep.
In addition to this relaxation, it is also possible to positively reshape the whole personality, since the samskaras (impressions), habits, tendencies and patterns of behavior are transmuted.
With practice, psychosomatic imbalance is spontaneously restored due to the release of energetic blocks in the brain. This energy is redirected for treatment and rejuvenation of tissues, glands and organs.
In a Yoga Nidra session, the practitioner only needs to lie down and listen. Concentration is not necessary as it blocks the energetic flow of consciousness and prevents access to its deeper dimensions.
